The Multiple Unit Depot is intended to carry out scheduled maintenance of Lastochka trains according to the VI, I1-I6 Maintenance Scope, maintenance of ED and ET electric trains according to the TO-2, TO-3 and TR-1 Maintenance Scope, as well as unscheduled maintenance, including for Sapsan electric trains.
The operations are managed using the modern international practices for rolling stock maintenance to ensure that works do not require uncoupling of electric trains, provide convenient access to necessary parts of an electric train, productivity and work safety.
The Podmoskovnaya Multiple Unit Depot is Russia’s only depot that holds a BREEAM certification and meets European environmental standards.
